Vocal Master

Communication

One of my longest ongoing goals in teaching voice has been to hone the skills to communicate this subject with the wide variety of students I have encountered.  One of the main functions of creating “The Art OF Body Singing” was to develop a vocabulary that was independent of the typical high-brow vocal pedagogy.  And since the system’s creation almost 30 years ago, I have continued with thousands of students to develop my communication skills with the variety of ways students learn any subject.  I have the skills at this point to teach voice from about any possible vantage point at whatever level the student is at and help them work from there.

NO GIMMICKS     no 12 octave programs…….no glass breaking tricks……..no fake vibrato……..

The Art of Body Singing is the culmination of modern and traditional voice methods,  taught in a tangible, to the point and immediately applicable format.  You “will” see results.

Genuine improvement of voice, music and performance for all levels and all styles

Your Voice …. Your Choice

The Art of Body Singing is like Vocal Chiropractics.   Singing should feel great. Your body is the instrument, and when you’ve spent some time intelligently coordinating it, then it should follow you into wherever your singing leads you.  That’s a powerful feeling.  Oh so much better than what happens when singing is a struggle.  Struggle usually kills momentum and not only sounds bad, and quite often hurts, but it kills the energy of what you’re trying to communicate.  Singing should inspire emotion as much as be inspired by it.  It should fire you up as much as it does your audience.  When that chain reaction happens there is a great deal of energy being generated, and energy attracts energy (the audience can feel it).

I often say  “singing should bring a bead of sweat to your forehead.”  This is what really separates the “almost singing” from the “really singing” of the world.

Effort and Struggle are not the same thing!  Coasting in singing sounds like coasting, and does not evoke a great deal of emotional reaction.  “Nothing in…..Nothing out.   Dig down deep!!!!

The Art of Body Singing will take you on a wonderful “connect the dots”  path that will  teach you how not to struggle, but how to keep adding and connecting more and more energy to your singing and performance.

My experience includes a lifetime of pursuing voice and singing, and working with thousands of singers and voice professionals on the same pursuit.
